Farm Fresh Eggs

We currently operate a flock of 15 laying hens of various breeds and are expanding to 30 when the 2026 spring chicks mature. The hens receive a diet consisting primarily of organic grains, fruits, and vegetables, along with whatever they forage from nature. They are raised with a focus on free‑range practices; however, they are penned when necessary to protect them from predators.

Grass Fed Beef

We currently operate a cow/calf production herd of five cows of various breeds. The cows receive a diet consisting primarily of fescue, clover, and bluegrass through rotational grazing practices during the growing season, and fescue hay during the winter. We also invest in improving herd genetics through artificial insemination (AI) practices.

quotes

“I developed a love for animals and plants on the family farm I grew up on in Western Kentucky, where we raised beef cattle, hogs, tobacco, and bell peppers. After college at UK and a 20-year career in corporate taxes, I returned to farming and providing Kentucky Proud whole foods for my family and yours.”
